Pricing & FAQ
These are some of the more standard enquiries. However, tuition is individual to the student so we recommend either ringing or completing the Tuition Enquiry Form, for a dialogue response. There is no obligation: if we cannot help, we say so.

FAQ's
Please do not hesitate to ring our Student Support Line for helpful, impartial advice.
Who Should Take an Online Course?
Generally, anyone who is happy to interface with a computer. Although by no means definitive, this tends to be the age-range 8 to 80. Below the former, attention can wander, above the latter, interest in online learning is limited.
How Do I Access My Course?
During your initial discussions, with a possible tutor, about your study plans, you will touch on the more practical issues of times of lessons, teaching platforms, assignment completion methods. With online tuition, tutors often like the initial chat to be via video call – just to ensure you “hit the ground running”.
Are There Prerequisites or Language Requirements?
When your chosen subject is a language, your tutor may wish to assess your current level of understanding. They would then advise on a suitable plan of action. Most of our tutors rely on the ‘lingua franca’ of English and would make the point, if they felt you would require additional English tuition.
Can I Take More than One Course at a Time?
Yes. Many students have more than one tutor.
My Payment Did Not Go Through. What Do I Do?
If your payment is declined we will contact you so that you can make alternative arrangements to pay.
How Does Online Learning Work?
Each lesson is delivered to you by your tutor over the internet. Such interaction, using video links and common screens, has become an accepted form of teaching following the recent pandemic. From simple “Zoom” meetings to sophisticated “RingCentral” conference calls, there are many (often free) platforms; your tutor will often suggest their own favourite. The important point is that you are comfortable and ready to immerse yourself in the joy of learning your chosen subject.
